Powered By Service Member’s (PBSM), LLC, culminating both private sector and federal government experience, is postured to provide a vast depth of knowledge, experience, dedication, and trust while supporting the needs of the American War-fighter. PBSM is a self-certified Woman-Owned Small Business capable of delivering needed human relations, customer service, management consulting or educational and training consulting services.

Powered By Service Member’s LLC is a company lead by a service-disabled Veteran that honorably served in the United States Air Force. The mission of PBSM is to anticipate the human relations and management consulting needs of the federal government as we deliver prominent, unmatched intellectual capital.  Our goal is simply to be of service to those serving and/or have served.  The purpose of PBSM is to answer the call and fill the gap of organization’s needs.

United States Air Force

  1. Developed, controlled, programmed, and allocated manpower resources in support of the Air Force planning, programming, budgeting and execution process for Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling

  2. Managed allocation of military and civilian resources through execution and management of the Unit Manning Document (UMD)

  3. Serving as the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, I directed the base sexual assault prevention and response program in addition to provided survivor counseling, National Capital Region (NCR) education, and complaint processing.

United States Navy

  1. Institute customer service practices designed to meet the needs of commanders, supervisors, and the force at large in peacetime and wartime operations

  2. Serving as the Deputy Director of the Military Personnel Flight (MPF), I lead the efforts of programming and allocated manpower resources for Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling; manpower determination; personnel actions that encompassed accountability, military and civilian classification, active-duty military assignments, active-duty military force development, casualty, separations and retirements; education and training oversight; and guidance in military and civilian equal opportunity

  3. Lead the commanders support staff and managed programs to include leave, recognition, performance reporting and disciplinary actions

  4. As the Deputy Director, classified and assigned military personnel by analyzing qualifications of individuals in terms of job or position requirements in addition to originating and writing position descriptions (PD)

 

Department of Veterans Affairs

  1. Conducted background investigations/verifications on Department of Veterans Affairs medical professional

  2. Reviewed all documents/memorandums/reports and package for senior leader’s signature

  3. Collaborated with outside agency on compiling updated information on internal vacancies and provided a by-weekly spreadsheet containing data on the vacancies

Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc.

  1. Developed weekly notices for the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) which was the central repository for the Department of Defense Human Resource information.

  2. Supported the DMDC Call Center, providing support to the entire DoD population on how to unlock the (DEERS) system, when to take required annual training and how to issue common access cards (CAC) to active duty, dependent’s, contractors, and retired service members

  3. Implemented written DMDC instruction and regulations on all DEERS equipment updates sent to the Department of Defense MPFs world-wide to include proper equipment disposal guidelines  

PAST PERFORMANCE

  1. Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and exhibit a premier ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  2. Over 15 years’ experience supervising military, contractor and civilian employees in support of squadron, Wing, NAF and Head Quarter (HQ) Air Force levels, in addition to maintaining effective and positive cross functional working relationships

  3. Skilled in performing and executing military personnel actions, coordinating, advising, drafting reports, standard operating procedures, regulations, and conducting varies levels of program analysis, laws and policies on a wide range of Human Resource Management functions

  4. Leadership abilities sought as advisor to Air Force/Navy clients on classifying military and civilian positions using Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) guidelines

  5. 17 years of exceptional problem solving, interpersonal and customer service skills related to the area of Manpower, Personnel, Human Resources, Strategic Planning and Program Administration
